SINGAPORE (AFP) – - A Singaporean man with a fetish for smelling womens’ armpits has been sentenced to 14 years in jail and 18 strokes of the cane, legal officials said Friday.

A court employee confirmed the sentence, issued Thursday, against Mohammed Ismail Ariffin, 36.

Ariffin had a fixation for touching or smelling women, particularly their armpits, and was convicted of molesting 23 women, his lawyer Noor Mohamed Marican told AFP.

“He’s got this problem. Poor chap,” Noor said in a brief interview.

After reading an expert report that said Ariffin was likely to re-offend, Judge James Leong issued a preventive detention order, which means Ariffin will not be eligible for parole, The Straits Times said.

Ariffin, who is mildly retarded, would often attack his victims inside lifts, the report said.

It said Noor argued against a long sentence and in favour of rehabilitation and medical treatment.

But Leong said he found “precious little” in Ariffin’s favour, The Straits Times reported.

It’s a cocktail that damn famous in other countries clubs/pub and basically a drink for ladies. it became a icon for singapore drink. lol. however, singaporean dont really drink it alot in clubs/pubs. jokes.

Was there for the official launch, being invited by my colleague. launching singapore sling into bottles like Breezers, vodka sold in supermarket. all i can say the fresh mix was better than the bottled slings. BUT if compare to other bottles sold in markets, its good. the taste is much better than the chemical vodka. LOL.

The whole event was rather big at the centre of clarke quey. see pretty girls serving you drinks. haha. and the a part of show segment was going up to dance. tmd. so xia suay. LOL. only me/eric/lydia went to dance.

Past Week rants.

This entry should be about 2 weeks ago, on mother’s day. had pinic with some of them and stacy specifically said everyone should bring a food there.  Being a food techonolgist, i got no idea on what the shit i want to do. LOL.  end up doing sushi.

The process was rather not HACCP-certified. the result was not very impressive either. @_@ i will ensure the quality of food next time. jokes.

Drove stacy’s kangroo. stress. the thought of stalled engine is horrible. lol. but never say die! never stall when driving on the road. =D

Petrol substitute.

A man was driving down the road and ran out of petrol. Just at that moment, a bee flew in his window.

The bee said, “What seems to be the problem?” 
 

“I’m out of petrol.” 
 

The bee told the man to wait right there and flew away. 
 

Minutes later, the man watched as an entire swarm of bees flew to his car and into his petrol tank.
After a few minutes, the bees flew out.  “Try it now,” said one of the bees.

The man turned the ignition key and the car started right up.

“Wow!” the man exclaimed. “What did you put in my petrol tank?”

The bee answered,….  “BP.”
